Welcome to the Undergraduate Advising Center!
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences Undergraduate Advising Center serves students who have declared a major, minoring, an interest, or are considering a major, in the College. We assist students with appropriate course selection, fulfilling general education requirements, understanding pre-requisite requirements for their major, creating academic plans, and finding and referring students to other campus resources for their academic success.
Advising is an integral approach in a student’s progression toward graduation. Academic advising helps students to navigate through the rules and regulations of the Institute; helps students stay on track for graduation; disarm the traps of class pre-requisites; guard against students taking additional classes that will cost more money and delay graduation.

Spring Semester Drop-In Availability
Drop-in hours are every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Willingham Hall, suite 223. Please be sure to check our office closings page to confirm these times prior to coming by the office for a drop-in session.
Drop-in advising sessions are best suited for quick questions and requests. If your question or request is more involved, please use the link at the top of this page to schedule an appointment with your advisor. Unfortunately, we are unable to take students on academic dismissal during drop-ins.
Summer and Fall 2020 Registration:
Students with less than 30 credit hours have a 30-hour hold and must see an advisor to have this hold removed.
Registration for Summer and Fall 2020 semesters will open March 16, 2020. Individual time tickets should be assigned soon.
