New Gen Ed Course in American Studies

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 2, 2012) — Beginning spring 2012, American Studies will offer AMST 1102: American Identities, a new general education course for KSU students. This course fulfills Area B of the General Education Curriculum. The course explores what it means to be "American" and examines the concept of American identity from local and global perspectives. Students will learn about the social and cultural histories that have shaped a variety of identities for Americans.

Dr. LeeAnn Lands will teach the spring semester class, which meets Wednesdays 11:00-1:45 p.m. The CRN number for the course is 11350.
