KSU Model African Union team has award winning showing at Nationals

KENNESAW, Ga. (Mar 3, 2009) — The Department of Political Science and International Affairs would like to congratulate the Kennesaw State University Model African Union team for its outstanding performance at the 2009 Model African Union Nationals hosted by Howard University. This was the first time that the National Conference gave out awards; and our students, representing South Africa and Somalia, won most of them.

Following their superb performance hosting the Southeast Regional conference at Kennesaw State last November, our students turned in another spectacular performance in Washington DC. The entire team, representing South Africa and Somalia, were also outstanding ambassadors for KSU and the department.
