Fall 2008 Brownbag Presentation Wrap up

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 18, 2008) — During the past few months, students at Kennesaw State University have enjoyed the opportunity of learning more about Asian Culture during lunch, thanks to the Asian Studies Brownbag Presentations. All presentations were at 12:30pm on Thursdays in SO-2017 and covered the following topics:

  1. On Aug 28, 2008, Dr. May Hongmei Gao presented on "Chinese companies' global hunt for natural resources: How Chinese government is helping them."
  2. On Sept 23, 2008, Dr. Guichun Zong presented on "Which Half of the Sky? Women in Chinese History Textbooks."
  3. On Oct 23, 2008, Dr. Don Amoroso presented on "Understanding music sharing behavior in China: Development of an instrument"
  4. On Nov 13, 2008, Dr. Sarah Robbins presented on "The recent development in Asian American Literature."
