Dr. Daniel Farr has been awarded a $30,000 Affordable Learning Georgia Grant

KENNESAW, Ga. (Feb 5, 2020) — Daniel Farr and the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice has been awarded a $30,000 Affordable Learning Georgia Grant. This is the seventh ALG grant the department has received to support efforts to reduce student textbook and instructional resource costs. As the sixth grant received by Daniel Farr (PI), with the collaboration of Drs. Crombez, Gheorghiu-Stephens, Johnson, Treiber, and W. White, this transformation will impact over 750 students in 2020-21, with estimated students savings of over $100,000 per year.
