3rd Annual Director's Day: "Love Letters of the Civil War"

Kennesaw, GA (Feb 15, 2020) — The Center for the Study of the Civil War Era conducted its 3rd Annual Director's Day Event on February 15, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the KSU Center in Kennesaw, GA. The theme this year was "Love Letters of the Civil War" and there were two exciting, exclusive presentations featured.

First, our Director, Dr. Brian Steel Wills, gave a heart-wrenching lecture titled “Joy Cometh in the Morning: Coping with Separation in the Civil War.”

Afterwards, the crowd welcomed Dr. Tracy Revels who gave a funny, entertaining lecture titled "’As Pretty as Red Shoes’: Love and Humor in Civil War Letters."
