CHSS commencement set for May 11

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 22, 2020) — Kennesaw State University will host in-person commencement ceremonies for all 2020 and Spring 2021 graduates during its May 2021 commencement exercises. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences will hold their ceremonies on May 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Ceremonies dedicated to each college for 2020 Spring (May), Summer (July) and Fall (December) graduates and Spring (May) 2021 graduates are scheduled for the week of May 10-14, 2021, and will be held at Fifth Third Bank Stadium to accommodate as many people as possible while providing for appropriate health and safety protocols.

“The celebration of each student’s success during graduation ceremonies serves as the high point of the year and we want to be sure that all of our graduates and their families have the opportunity to recognize this significant accomplishment. We look forward to celebrating all of our graduates in Spring 2021,” said KSU President Pamela Whitten.

Beginning on February 1, 2021, graduates from Spring, Summer and Fall 2020 can register on KSU’s commencement website to attend the ceremony for their respective college. The registration portal will close on February 28, and tickets will be distributed in April for each commencement.

In the meantime, students scheduled to graduate this December still will earn their degrees, consistent with academic standards, and receive their diplomas by mail.
