The KSU German Studies Program has received a $75,000 grant from The Halle Foundation.

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 31, 2012) — The KSU German Studies Program has received a $75,000 grant from The Halle Foundation.

The three-year project is a four-way partnership among The Halle Foundation, Kennesaw State University, Paderborn University (Germany), and select German language programs in Georgia. Two scholars from Paderborn come to Georgia, and two KSU students study and work in Paderborn. The Halle Foundation sponsors a number of community engagement initiatives, and all partners collaborate to provide matching funds. The grant proposal was conceived and written by Dr. Sabine Smith, Professor of German.
