Rhonda Nikki Hill recipient of 2010 Outstanding Graduate Award in the Master of Public Administration Program
KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 21, 2011) — One of the most important events at Kennesaw State University every spring semester is the awards ceremony at which the outstanding seniors and graduate students from each of the University’s degree programs are celebrated for their academic achievements.
This year we are pleased to announce Rhonda Nikki Hill as the 2010 recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Award in the Master of Public Administration Program.
Rhonda “Nikki” Hill’s Biography
Rhonda "Nikki" Hill was born in Rome, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science
in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University in 2007. There were instances when
financial constraints removed her from school during her undergraduate career and
she was forced to join the workforce full-time in order to continue. After graduation
from GSU, she landed a position in a private firm as a background investigator, but
on realizing her interest in public service she enrolled in the Master of Public Administration
Program at KSU. She interned for the City of Kennesaw in 2009, and is planning on
graduating from the MPA Program on May 12, 2010. She holds membership in organizations
such as American Society for Public Administration, NAACP, Young Democrats, Order
of the Eastern Star, and several others. Rhonda is a recipient of the Hope Scholarship,
a National Laureate Scholar, and is listed on the National Dean’s roster. She has
volunteered for the March of Dimes, Sickle Cell Foundation, and participated in various
food drives in her community.
