MAST Students and Faculty Presented at the Southwest Popular Culture Conference in Albuquerque
KENNESAW, Ga. (Feb 14, 2012) — Congratulations to Jessica Killcreas and Regina Hanson on their presentations at last weekend's Southwest Popular Culture Association Conference in Albuquerque.
Regina Hanson's presentation was: "Taxed to Death: Current Relations between the Coeur D'Alene Tribe and their Local Governments" on the panel, Native American/Indigenous Studies: Persistance, Resistance, and Resilience in Native Nation.
Jessica Killcreas's presentation was :"Home Safe: Discourses of Safety and Property in True Blood" on a panel for which she also served as the session chair, Science Fiction and Fantasy: True Blood.
And congratulation as well to professor Linda Niemann, who served as a session chair and presented her work "Cave of the Olla" on the panel on Autobiography, Memoir, and Personal Narrative.
