KSU Online Sociology Program Recognized in "Best Online College Programs"

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Aug 22, 2013) — The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice launched the College of Humanities and Social Sciences’ first online undergraduate major in August of 2011. In just two years, the program has received national recognition: first, with a write up in the ASA Footnotes, and now listed as one of the "Best Online College Programs" for 2013-2014. The program was recognized as one of the best online sociology programs in the nation by BestOnlineColleges.org.

To earn the prestigious listing, programs are evaluated and must earn top marks according to course rigor, experience and education of the faculty, student satisfaction, and expert analysis. Additionally, data from the National Center for Education Statistics was used to evaluate the program. BestOnlineColleges.org recognized the convenience that KSU's unique weblearner program affords to online students.
