KSU archaeology students to excavate site of America’s last mass lynching

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 6, 2010) — A group of Kennesaw State University archaeology students led by Dr. Terry Powis will join students of the Bauder College Cold Case Research Institute and firearms experts to excavate and conduct the first metal surveys performed on the Walton County site where the bodies of four African American lynching-by-gunfire victims were found.
