KENNESAW, Ga. (Aug 2, 2016) — Amanda Guidero joined The Werner Institute as the inaugural Fellow of Conflict Engagement on Monday, August 1st. Amanda has an M.S. in Conflict from Portland State University and a Ph.D. in International Conflict Management from Kennesaw State University. Amanda's dissertation is on humanitarian practices and how humanitarian organizations can mitigate the effects of security incidents through their decision-making process. Amanda is also a licensed mediator in the state of Oregon and has conducted research on bi-communal peacebuilding and reconciliation efforts in Cyprus. Amanda will be teaching in The Werner Institute and working on community projects.
