Graduate Research Assistantships
Student Application Process Overview

A Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) is a learning opportunity for MAST students, which support professionalism in the context of the program, while also providing financial support. An overview of the experience follows:

1. A GRA student commits to work thirteen (13) hours per week in the funded semester.

2. Each GRAship comes with a stipend of $2,000 for the term, plus tuition remission (i.e. free tuition for the semester).

3. GRA students are not Teaching Assistants (TA’s). In the future, the MAST program aims to develop a TA initiative, but do not have a current structure in place to support that program.

For specific information on policies and procedures, please go to the Graduate Program website: http://www.kennesaw.edu/graduate/research.html
