Geography and Anthropology students selected for competitive internships

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 7, 2013) — Congratulations to three KSU students who were selected through a rigorous and competitive process for prestigious paid internships. Gina Perleoni (GISc) will undertake a year-long internship opportunity with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta. Manuel Valendia (GISc) will join the Junior Fellow Internship program in the Geography and Map Division at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. Samantha Roberts (Anthropology) will work on LEED Re-certification of the National Museum of the American Indian through the Office of Facilities Management and Reliability at the Smithsonian Institution.
