KENNESAW, Ga. (Jan 5, 2012) — In December 2011 David Jones was among a select group of U.S. scholars invited to present in the Society for the Study of Religious Philosophy's International Symposium on Chinese Culture and Religious Concord in Taiwan. Ten Western scholars from Israel, Canada, Iceland, Lithuania, Ireland, the Netherlands, and U.S. were invited to join PRC and Taiwan scholars in this historic conference. David Jones was the lead presenter in the first of three plenary panel sessions where he presented a paper titled "Letting Life In: Religious Concord Through Classical Chinese Sources." The conference took place outside of Taichung in the picturesque setting of Sun Moon Lake (Riyuetan, CH; Zintun in Thao), a UNESCO World Heritage site.
