Drs. Terantino, Hoyt, & George Awarded ACTFL Research Priorities Grant

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 2, 2014) — Drs. Terantino, Hoyt, & George were awarded a 2014/2015 Research Priorities Grant from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Their project, "Examining the Communities of Practice Established Through INFORM: An Exploratory Case Study", implements instructional rounds in foreign language teacher education coursework. The innovative and award-winning Instructional Field Observations Rounds Model (Hoyt & Terantino, in press) draws from the medical profession where resident interns make rounds with experienced physicians.
