Drs. Jennifer Dickey and Catherine Lewis receive 2016 Georgia Author of the Year Award

KENNESAW, Ga. (Jun 14, 2016) — The Department of History is proud to announce that Drs. Jennifer Dickey and Catherine Lewis received the 2016 Georgia Author of the Year Award from the Georgia Writer's Association for their book Memories of the Mansion: The Story of Georgia's Governor's Mansion.

The 2016 Georgia Author of the Year Awards was held on June 4th at the Kennesaw State University Continuing Education Center. There were 154 nominees in 14 categories. Over 230 authors and literary enthusiasts attended the banquet and ceremony.
