Dr. Totten and Dr. Cobkit article accepted in the New Criminal Law Review

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 1, 2012) — Dr. Christopher Totten and Dr. Sutham Cobkit recently had an article accepted in the New Criminal Law Review, an international and interdisciplinary journal from the University of California Press.  This refereed journal has recently ranked as high as fourth in the United States (fifth worldwide) in the fields of criminal law and procedure.  Research for the article was funded, in part, by a CHSS faculty seed grant.  The article is entitled "The knock and announce rule and police searches after Hudson v. Michigan:   Can alternative deterrents effectively replace exclusion for rule violations?"
