Dr. Robert H. “Robin” Dorff continues his work on strategy and security in May and June 2013

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Aug 30, 2013) — Robert H. “Robin” Dorff was an invited speaker at a public workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark on May 24, 2013. Dr. Dorff’s address, “The Dwindling Relevance of NATO in the United States” was part of “NATO after the Pivot: American and European Perspectives on NATO’s Future” held at the Danish Institute for International Studies.

Dr. Dorff also completed work on a book chapter entitled “U.S. National Security Strategy and NATO” to be published later this year or in early 2014 in Liselotte Odgaard (ed.), Strategy in NATO: Preparing for an Imperfect World (Houndmills: Palgrave MacMillan, forthcoming).

Dr. Dorff was also an invited Keynote Speaker at the 2013 Senior Leaders Seminar of the Africa Center for Strategic Studies. On June 18, 2013 he addressed a group of more than 50 senior officials from 36 African countries and other officials from Europe, the United States, international and regional organizations, and civil society on the topic of “Developing a National Security Strategy.”
