Dr. Jim Piecuch Is Presented With the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution's Lectureship Award

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Jan 22, 2013) — On Friday, Jan. 18, Dr. Jim Piecuch gave the keynote address at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, marking the 232nd anniversary of the Battle of Cowpens. The event was sponsored by the National Park Service, Wofford College, the Revolutionary War Rountable of the Backcountry, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, and the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. When Dr. Piecuch finished his presentation, he was pleasantly surprised to be given the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution's Lectureship Award for South Carolina in recognition of all the talks he has given promoting the history of the state in the Revolution.
