Dr. Gail Markle receives AAUW Grant

KENNESAW, Ga. (Apr 15, 2013) — Dr. Gail Markle has become a recipient of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) 2013 American Fellowship Publication Grant.  This grant will allow Dr. Markle to devote full time effort in the summer of 2014 to develop a manuscript based on her project, "Factors that Influence Persistence among Nontraditional Female Students” for publication.  This project and associated publication has the potential to inform discussions about the development of strategies and interventions to reduce the very high dropout rate among nontraditional students
