Dr. Crowder's Learning Community Class learns about child abuse and neglect

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 26, 2016) — On October 19th, students from Dr. Stan Crowder's Learning Community class, Foundations of Criminal Justice, conducted a field trip to the Anna Crawford Children's Center in Woodstock, Georgia. The Executive Director of the Center, Amy F. Economopoulos, MS, provided an overview of tasks, conditions, and operations. The center is a private, 501c3, non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect; and protecting and serving children and families. The theme of Dr. Crowder and Professor Migliaro's Learning Community is: "Get Engaged: Preparing to Work with At-Risk Populations.
