Dr. Christopher Totten has a publication in the Criminal Law Bulletin

KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 5, 2014) — Dr. Christopher Totten, Assoc. Prof. of Criminal Justice (Law) and graduate criminal justice student ("MSCJ") student Jamie Dapremont recently co-authored a publication in the Criminal Law Bulletin ("CLB").  The article, entitled "Post-Florence Interpretive Cases:  An Analysis and Assessment," synthesizes and evaluates lower federal court case law interpreting the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision of Florence v. Burlington.  Florence held that strip and visual cavity searches of minor crime arrestees at intake into the general population of a jail or prison are permissible under the U.S. Constitution.   The citation is:  50 Crim. L. Bull. 930 (2014).  The article appears in Volume 50, Issue Number 4 of the CLB.  The CLB is a refereed journal that currently ranks second (2nd) among peer edited journals in the United States in the field of criminal law and procedure.
