Anthropology students present research and win award at Georgia Academy of Sciences.

KENNESAW, Ga. (Apr 8, 2013) — Anthropology student Jeffrey Turner won the award for best undergraduate presentation in the anthropology section at the Georgia Academy of Sciences annual meeting in Valdosta, Ga on March 30. His paper, "The Utility of Remote Sensing Techniques from the Dabbs Site: A Look at the Efficiency of the Ground Penetrating Radar and Magnetometer" was co-authored with Keener Smith, Stephanie Henry, Terry Powis, and Sheldon Skaggs. Olivia Pisano presented her research conducted with Dr. Van Horne and Duncan Balinger, Samantha Roberts, and Caitlin Syfrett presented their independent research projects.
