An ecological research project directed by Drs. Wayne Van Horne and Mario Giraldo has been set up in the "The Valley" Corra Harris Home

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 14, 2010) — The Geography and Anthropology department set up the first ecological research in the "The Valley" Corra Harris home now property of KSU. The research will monitor water dynamics in secondary forest patches to assess the contribution of suburban forest to the water dynamics in North-West Georgia. Professors Wayne Van Horne and Mario Giraldo are the leaders of the project, and the student research assistant is Phillip Oliver. The project is supported by CHSS research grants.
