Alpha Phi Sigma (APS)/ Criminal Justice Honor Society members were inducted on April 18th

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 12, 2014) — On April 18th, Dr. Christopher Totten , Alpha Phi Sigma/ Criminal Justice Honor Society faculty advisor, presided over the event where new Alpha Phi Sigma (APS)/ Criminal Justice Honor Society members were inducted as part of an official ceremony.  Family members and friends of the inductees attended the ceremony. Judge Michelle Harrison, Associate Juvenile Court Judge for the Juvenile Court of Douglas County, GA, spoke at the event.

New members inducted at the ceremony were:  Sherine Mitto, Malekica Cade, James Purdon (graduate student), Patrick McLaughlin, Ebony Bryant (graduate student member and APS officer), Matthew Shelby (member and officer), and Julie Henderson (member and officer).  Zachary Mayfield also participated in this event as an APS officer.  New members unable to attend the ceremony that day are:  Ryan Brimfield, Alex Moyer, and Britany Fitzpatrick (graduate student).  

To become an APS / CJ Honor Society member, students must attain, at the time of membership, a G.P.A. of 3.2 (undergraduate) or 3.4 (graduate), among several other requirements.
