Sociologists excel at the Georgia Sociological Association Annual Conference

KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 13, 2017) — Our department had a strong presence at Georgia Sociological Association at Lake Blackshear, Cordele GA. Attendees included Linda Treiber, Mel Fein, Jennifer McMahon-Howard, Cristina Gheorghiu-Stephens, Ravi Ghadge and Wendell Johnson.  We are proud that our faculty and students were recognized with several top awards: Linda Treiber received the Meritorious Service Award for her many years of service as the editor of the Journal of Public and Professional Service while our own Sociology graduate Jennifer McDonnell  received the First Place in the Undergraduate Student Paper Competition.  Congratulations!
